Stan Newman of Amityville, the longtime crossword editor for Newsday, announced that each Thursday crossword lovers can play a brand-new crossword he is creating for AARP.com. At least 50% (and up to 80%) of each puzzle’s clues will be about the people, places and things from the late 1960s to the early 2000s—movies, books, music, fads, fashion, sports, products, celebrities from all fields, etc.
Newman is the author or editor of more than 200 books of crosswords and trivia, and since the beginning of 2022, an online game developer for the Internet gaming company Arkadium.com.
