Arkadium Signs Hundreds of Publishing Partners, Expanding Global Reach

Tribune, Sports Illustrated, PEOPLE Magazine and More Choose Arkadium’s Interactive Content

New York – April 12, 2016 – Arkadium, the provider of interactive content including games, quizzes, video and more to the world’s biggest publishers and brands, today announced that it has achieved the strongest growth in its history.

Over the past year, the company inked new deals with more than 300 global media outlets, including Time Inc.’s PEOPLE and Sports Illustrated magazines, Tribune Media, and over 175 Hearst properties across the country, making Arkadium one of the publishing industry’s biggest partners.

The new properties join Arkadium’s global roster of partners, totaling over 450 tier one publishers and brands, including CNN, The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times, that use the company’s interactive content to engage readers and keep them on their websites longer.

“The publishing industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace, and our partners have recognized the need for content that gets their audiences’ attentions and keeps them engaged on their sites,” said Jessica Rovello, co-founder and CEO of Arkadium. She added: “Our content is winning the battle for eyeballs, and supporting the world’s top publishers and brands in the process.”

Arkadium’s content increases the time users spend on websites by an average of 15 minutes, greatly reduces bounce rates and encourages repeat visitors: over 85% of users coming back each month to re-engage with the company’s collection of content.

“The Washington Post has seen record growth over the last year. As we serve more readers than ever, Arkadium has become a valued collaborator in ensuring we provide the most engaging experience for users who enjoy our daily crossword and selection of games,” said Alex Remington, product manager at The Washington Post.

In 2015 alone, Arkadium generated over half a billion content views. With the addition of the new partners, the company’s reach now exceeds 500 million users per month.
